This is an exposition of work the author has done at the Historic Federal Building in Pueblo, Colorado in addition to the specialized plaster restoration he and his family company have done there. It also documents other happenings, progress, or maintenance upgrades in the building.

Christmas Decorations

In the 5th Street Gallery there's a pottery show featuring Puebloan Ken Williams and his wife Judith's work. Took a couple snapshots of the cast brass PO box doors that grace three walls in the lobby.

About Me

Andrew Kottenstette: I am a skilled laborer whose had almost three years university study in Fine Art in the early Eighties. My emphasis was sculpture, and I've incorporated some of that training towards a stint in manufacturing as a mouldmaker in the cast stone industry. Over the years I've learned just about every trade in construction, working backward from finish work towards the structural. I would have liked to have completed a bachelaureate degree program, and don't rule out returning to University someday. My leaving purely had to do with changes in financial aid at the time, not being able to find work, and having no co-signer for a private loan whom wasn't already bankrupt. I also make a constant study of anthopology and archaeology.
